Congratulations! New Jersey Citizen Action's Political Action Committee is proud to endorse you for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives for NJ's Congressional District 8. As the state's largest citizen watchdog coalition, NJCA pays careful attention to the critical national and international issues facing New Jerseyans. Your principled stance on issues related to health care, Social Security, campaign finance reform, and the war in Iraq are just the kind we need to be heard in Washington, DC.

Your responses to our candidate questionnaire showed strong support for all of the major concerns facing our members and the public at-large. We are especially pleased with your support for reversing the privatization of Medicare and finding real solutions for the high cost of prescription drugs, including the creation of a real Medicare Prescription Drug Program. We are confident that, as a member of Congress, you will commit yourself to protecting Social Security against privatization, supporting tax fairness, and to finding a way for US troops to return home from Iraq.

The PAC was impressed with your overall concern for affordable, quality health care for working families and seniors, as well as campaign finance reform and budget and tax issues. We believe you will serve voters in Congressional District 8 as an effective advocate who will fight to improve our communities and make government work for everyone.
