The Honorable Rush Holt
PO Box 782
Pennington, NJ 08534
Attention: Mr. Paul Penna
Dear Congressman Holt,
Congratulations! New Jersey Citizen Action's Political Action Committee is proud to endorse you for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives for NJ's Legislative District 12. As the state's largest citizen watchdog coalition, NJCA pays careful attention to the critical national and international issues facing New Jerseyans. Your principled votes in the last two sessions of Congress as well as your commitment to our concerns on these issues make you a leader voters need to continue to have in Washington.
Your responses to our candidate questionnaire showed strong support for all of the major concerns facing our members and the public at-large. We are especially pleased with your support for reversing the privatization of Medicare and finding real solutions for the high cost of prescription drugs. You committed yourself to protecting Social Security, supporting tax fairness and including the international community's involvement in the restoration of Iraq. The PAC was impressed with your overall concern for affordable, quality health care for working families and seniors, as well as public education, clean communities and voting rights.
You have given voters in Legislative District 12 an advocate who will fight to improve their communities and make government for everyone. We especially appreciate your dedication to the Hasan family of Milltown, and know that you have worked diligently to secure their permanent residency in the United States. This effort shows your belief in equality, tolerance and diversity.
NJCA's PAC believes that you have demonstrated the vision and commitment on the issues to achieve our common goals of decreasing the cost of living while increasing the quality of life in New Jersey. We will be working to register, educate and mobilize voters in the district to get to the polls and re-elect Congressman Holt to Congress on Tuesday, November 2.
Sincerely,
Phyllis Salowe-Kaye, Executive Director
